Since it was Sunday, Ernie and John had time to show us the Blue Mountains, a mountain range one hours drive (yes - we took a car for a change :-) west of Sydney. To be precise, it wasn't just a car, but one of Australia's first Range Rovers - right John?! ;-)
The clouds were hanging pretty low and here and there a few raindrops came down. But most of the time the weather was good, although it can get a bit chilly up in the mountains - so bring a jumper to keep you warm.
One of the main attractions of the Blue Mountains is a rock formation called "The Three Sisters". Unfortunately, the clouds were very low so our view of it looked like this:
