A postcard from 1995.
This site was originally written while Bill Clinton was president, the
internet ran on dial-up, and a gallon of gas cost $1.15. Prices, phone
numbers, and some recommendations are hilariously outdated — but the
roads are still there, the national parks are still gorgeous, and the
stories are still true. We've flagged the most dated bits with a
1995
badge. Enjoy the ride.

In 1995 two Danish brothers set out on the adventure of a lifetime:
half a year exploring the United States on motorcycles. 34,000 km later
they had seen the Grand Canyon at sunrise,
raced a Porsche on Highway 1, soaked in hot springs in Ouray, and made
friends from coast to coast, all on a student budget.
This site collects everything they learned along the way.
